CELESTRIALS
Theme: Love, Sacrifice
Bio: Despite how it may initially seem, this constellation has little patience for fleeting feelings and loose ideals. Their focus lies in the thoughts of people who feel strongly, powerfully, and who aren’t afraid to act on those feelings and do what it takes to protect that love. They favor those who would do anything, sacrifice anything, to keep what they love safe. Whether that love is a person, place, thing, or animal… they want to see how best you manage to protect it, perhaps even at the cost of everything you are.
Likes: Love, devotion, calmness, truthfulness, honest sacrifice or martyrdom, willingness to commit heinous acts to protect what the character loves
Dislikes: Lies, inflated egos, senseless violence, self-harm(physical or emotional) for the purpose of manipulating love out of others, disregard for those they loves’ feelings
★ The Unicorn’s Horn: The character cannot land the first blow. A character who is harmed, however, will be imbued with a power that allows them to return the blow with 2x the power of the original attack, regardless of the source.
★ The Unicorn’s Flesh: This is a passive power that cannot be turned off. The character becomes very hard to kill, and is able to survive many otherwise fatal injuries until they either are dismembered, decapitated, or otherwise completely destroyed. This does NOT remove their sense of pain, and does not allow them to become unconscious due to their injuries until they are dead. They are at all times awake and aware through the pain, and in the case of partial dismemberment, will be hindered as they would normally be missing certain limbs or organs. Survivability does not equal mobility; pain is still a hindrance
★ The Unicorn’s Heart: The character’s heart-blood becomes a natural curative. Given willingly, the character may stab themselves in the heart(painful, but non-fatal) and use that blood to cure many things, including:
- Poisons or minor corruptions
- Mental or physical effects, depending on the severity (the more severe, the more blood it will take)
- Healing, at the cost of their own life force.
Stolen unwillingly from the character, the blood will still do these things, but at the cost of the thief’s life force instead.
